(dedicated to our dogs, our family, and our friends)
           What's revin' in 07?

7/29   Ember goes WB under judge Susan Woodle at the BRASC "Bare-Bones" show for a 4 pt major!  Gracie also does quite well at the BRASC show. She made her obedience debut in Novice B, where she earned her first leg, with a score of 188 1/2 and 2nd place.

July/August  USASA publishes the first quarter top 10 Aussies, and boy did we hit it big!   Gracie is the #1 Advanced Rally Aussie !!  Momma Jazz couldn't be left out of the picture, she is #2 Novice Rally and #9 Novice Obedience.  Of course Willow had to show that it's all in the genes by ranking #8 in Novice Rally.  I couldn't be happier with my foundation bitch and her two daughters - of course all three girls earned their titles in three consecutive shows !!!

5/26   Willow and Gracie both earn their HT at the Chesapeak Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club's  herding trial and test in Berryville, VA.

4/29  Reign earns both her OA and her OAJ titles at the Shetland Sheepdog of Greater Baltimore Agility trials.  She qualified 4 out of 4 runs; she earned two second place ribbons, one of which was a clean run, and a forth place ribbon -- she was awosome !!

4/28    Gracie earns her NAJ title with first place!

March Madness Means:   THREE DAYS< FOUR DOGS< FIVE TITLES !!!

4/1Gracie earned her bumper leg and second place; Colby decided he too could use a little more leg that day.

4/1Papa Magnus couldn't let the family leave him behind - He too earned his RN title with a great score - (of course my girls decided to stay home and take the day off !!)  CONGRATS EVERYONE !!!!!!!!

3/31Well, my parents came out to see if we could do it again; making things even worse for me, three of my instructors came out to watch too!  We are off lead healing, the judge calls "fast," and we begin jogging straight for a very young girl cradling her Teddy Bear - Jazz thinks we have finished, and are now going to play with the little girl - OMG, can we say STRESS here! My nerves were shot (after all, it's taken me +30 years to get back in the obedience ring), but WE DID IT !!   Jazz earned her CD in three consecutive shows - I am so proud of my girl!

3-31Jazz continues with her "winning streak"  and goes on to earn her RN title - 3 times out, three legs, two titles.

3-31Willow, proving once again - like mother, like daughter, also earns her third RN leg with another 94 - 3 times out, three legs, one great dog !

3-31Gracie didn't want to be out done by her mom and little sister, so she stepped up to the plate and earned her RA Title with third place.  Colby strutted those little legs to keep up with the Big Dawgs - he too earned his RA title with ease.

3/30     Jazz earns her second leg towards her CD in the am, then comes back to earn her second RN leg with another perfect 100, and another 2nd place.

3/30Willow earns her second RN leg with a 94

3/30Gracie and Colby both earn their second RA legs.

3/18Jazz debuts in obedience at The DOTC club of MD; She earned her first RN leg with a perfect 100 and 2nd place.  She later went on to earn her first leg towards her CD  with a 185 (of course mom earned a few handler errors for her !)

3/18Little Willow (Jazz daughter x Magnus) also made her debut, earning her first RN leg with a 91 - not bad, considering it was her first time out in a NOISY building.

3/18Gracie also attended, (Jazz daughter x Apollo ) earning her first RA leg in style - she not only took 1st, but took home some lovely prizes too!

3/18Of course we can't forget Colby - he earned his first RA leg this weekend.  Guess he couldn't let the girls show him up

8/19 Ember passes her therapy dog test and is now a Registered Pet Partner with the Delta Society.  Our goal is to also become  a R.E.A.D.(R) Team in the near future, so that Ember can help below grade level readers gain confidence and boost their reading skills.  Please visit both The Delta Society and The Intermountain Therapy Animals for more information on therapy dogs.

8/5,6,7   We took a family trip North of the Border to Niagra Falls, ON, Canada - Absolutely breath-taking !! (hmmmm, did I mean the Falls or the Shows?)  Sunday, Ember was given the honor of WB/BOW/BOB, by Senior Breeder Judge Sharon Rowe, for a 5 point Major win over specials.  Then on Monday, Willow was given the honor of WB/BOS, by Senior Breeder Judge Marie Murphy, earning a 4 point Major. Wow! This is her second Major win, and she's only 9 months old.  A great big "THANK YOU" to all those involved with hosting the Willoughby Stock Dog Club Trial ( I would have never guessed it was your first trial - you guys were awesome!!)
